How to use the Quote Module in SMRT

The purpose of this feature is to create an order that isn’t attached to a customer so that you can give a customer who’s in store a price without making an account for them. If they decide that the price is too expensive then they can leave the store without the cleaner having made an account that they now need to disable.


You can create a quote by going to the quote page from the home screen.

To then create the quote, you press the “NEW” button, which initiates the Order Creation box. If the buttons is greyed out, it means you need to set the station first.



After you are finished Detailing the quote, you can press the estimate button which prints an estimate that is (other than the name) identical to the button available for an undetailed order on a regular account.


You can transfer the quote to a real customer account, with the button below the estimate button, if the customer accepts the quote. This works the same way as the normal Order Transfer button.

The reason for this, is that the quote feature uses a temporary account and it doesn’t show up in most reporting.

Quotes will automatically deleted after X amount of time depending on the "Time Frame for deleting Quotes setting in Production Settings.
