Stations

A station in SMRT is a single computer present at a dry cleaner. Often also referred to as a terminal.

In order to input orders/data into SMRT, a station must be set on the computer you are using.

Stations are an important part of how SMRT keeps your operations organized and secure.

Tracking Activity

When a garment is scanned or an action is performed in SMRT, the system records which station (Computer/Terminal) it happened on. This allows you to trace activities to specific locations, which can be very useful for investigations such as garment loss or order issues.

Controlling Employee Access

Requiring a station to be set prevents staff from logging in from unauthorized locations, such as their homes. Because many employees use simple PIN codes or passwords, setting a station adds an extra layer of security to ensure access is limited to approved stations only.
