Traditionally, dry cleaners used to manage their lots manually using paper tags. By using SMRTs inventory management system (production stations + heat seal barcodes on item) these are no longer needed

Lot Manager is a way to track what needs to be cleaned first, allows you to find “forgotten items/orders”, and also allows you to plan your production staffing needs for the near future.

The 3 columns (order date, production & promise due date), allows you to view your orders that are not yet fully ready (still being assembled) aggregated by 3 different dates:

  • Order Date: Orders are grouped by the date they were created.

  • Promise Date: Orders are grouped by the date they were promised to the customer

  • Production Due Date: view orders grouped by the date they are due for being produced (normally 1 day before promise date set by your Due Date Rules)

Filters

Lot manager has Brands, Agents and Departments filters.

💡 Brand filter works based on the Agents associated with the Brand. In other words, when a particular Brand is selected, orders of those Agents associated with that particular Brand will be displayed. E.g., If washington brand is filtered, orders of Washington Store and Main will be displayed.

Printing Report

When user clicks on date, orders or items columns in a row, a paginated list with details is displayed. Each page is limited with 15 orders or items respectively.
