In depth breakdown of the Marketing Campaign Setting

The marketing campaign module is designed to set up recurring notifications and offers based on your customers' activity. For a comprehensive breakdown of each campaign, please refer to this campaign breakdown guide.

To Access the Campaign Module:

From the SMRT Dashboard, click on Marketing > Campaigns,

Each base campaign offers specific settings to tailor the campaign to your needs. We encourage using the predetermined settings options for optimal performance.

Settings Breakdown:

  • Customer Inclusion Filters (Optional): Select the KPI to determine who will receive the offer or notification.

  • Customer Exclusion Filters (Optional): Select a KPI to exclude customers from receiving the offer or notification.

  • Sending Priority: Set the priority of the message to send:

    • Email Only

    • SMS Only

    • Try Email First, if no email address exists then send SMS

    • Try SMS First, if no phone number exists then send email

    • Both Email and SMS

  • Spending Demographics : Broken into 20% group based on spending habits

    • Top Spenders

    • Average Spenders

    • Good Spenders

    • Low Spenders

    • Non Spenders

  • Day of the Month to Send: Choose the day of the month to send the promotion. For end-of-month messages, set the day to the 28th to ensure all months are covered.

  • Email Template: Select the email template created for the campaign.

  • SMS Message: Enter the text for your SMS message. It can have a maximum of 400 characters.

  • Promotion (Optional): Select the promotion if offering one.

  • Trigger Interval: Set the minimum number of days between messages (e.g., "7" means a 7-day wait between messages).

  • Frequency: Specify how many days to wait for a customer to place an order before exiting the campaign.

  • Frequency Value: Enter the numerical value that corresponds to the frequency type.

  • Frequency Type: Choose the type of frequency (Days, Weeks, Months, Day of the Month).

  • Days Passed: Specify the day after the oldest order becomes ready to send a message.

  • Max Messages: Set the maximum number of times the email and/or SMS will be sent for a specific campaign.

  • Auto-apply Promotion: Determine if the promotion is automatically applied to the customer account. If this is turned on, no promotion link is needed in the message.

  • Enable Store Customers: Toggle to send messages to store customers.

  • Enable Route Customers: Toggle to send messages to route customers.

  • Maximum Wait Days: Set the maximum number of days to wait for the next order before the customer exits the campaign.

  • Interval: Enter the numerical frequency in days for sending out messages.

  • Send Reminder: Option to send a second message after a set period of time.

  • Maximum Messages To Send: The maximum messages to send per customer per frequency interval.
