Account notes are located next to the customer’s profile information. These are ongoing reminders that apply to that customer’s service.
Order notes are nested under the order details. They are irrelevant outside of that order. Use to communicate a customer’s requests regarding a current order.
Some notes pertaining to changes in an order such as, "item #xxxxx removed" "discount applied" are automatically added by the system along with a time stamp and the user who performed such changes.
* The combination of the Category: "Special Process" + Issue: "Inspection" will generate a printed note on order tickets. When applied in the account level, these notes will print on every ticket of every order the customer brings.
Item notes are specific to items. By selecting the All Orders option located above the note's Category and Issue, you will create a permanent note; this is helpful when you want to ensure specific instructions for a garment are applied every time the item returns for processing.
